Call for Abstracts

The Australasian Association for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine invite delegates to submit abstracts for presentation at the AACB 62nd Annual Scientific Conference.

Abstracts are invited from all areas in and around clinical biochemistry and laboratory medicine to present as an oral or poster presentation.  We also encourage submissions that reflect the theme of "Shedding Light on the Medical Laboratory ‘Black Box’.

This year’s theme, "Shedding Light on the Medical Laboratory ‘Black Box’," highlights the complexities behind the results that many clinical and non-clinical colleagues may not fully understand. The conference will include sessions on a wide range of current and relevant topics in the pathology and medical laboratory testing fields, all connected to this theme

Presentation Types include:

  • Oral Presentation
  • Poster*

*Selected top posters will be invited to make a short PPT presentation in the 'Hot Topics Poster Session'.
