Health & Safety

The health and safety of conference attendees is our highest priority. We are mindful of the health risks posed by COVID-19, and the importance of following official medical advice with respect to social distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying at home when unwell. We request that any delegate who is feeling unwell or has cold or flu like symptoms, or who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, not attend the conference.

In registering for the meeting, delegates agree to comply with all COVID-19 measures and protocols. By entering the Venue, Patrons acknowledge that there is a risk of contracting COVID-19 and the Venue owner, Manager, ASDG and the conference organisers do not guarantee that it is or will remain a COVID-19 free area. The Patron assumes all risk for any loss or damage caused in this regard while in or around the Venue.

Force Majeure

ASDG and the organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.

In this clause, Force Majeure means circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of ASDG and the organisers and which are reasonably likely to affect ASDG’s successful delivery of the Event or would make it inadvisable, impracticable, illegal, or impossible for a party to perform its obligations as originally contracted under this Agreement, including: fire, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, collapse of building structures, widespread disease or other public health emergency (including pandemic or epidemic), strike or other industrial action, the outbreak or declaration of war, act of terrorism, revolution or government orders or action (including the declaration of a State of Emergency).

Without prejudice to its obligations ASDG and the organisers accept no liability and will not be liable for any compensation where the performance of its obligations under this Agreement is affected by Force Majeure.
