ASDG is proud to be a special interest group of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA)
All abstracts must be submitted online. The abstract must be submitted as a word document and should not exceed 300 words - a 'word document template' has been provided to assist you in following the format.
Authors will be notified of the status of their submission from 11 April 2022. All presenters will be required to register for the meeting and have paid the registration fee; the Early Bird registration closes 24 April 2022.
Please note that the space available for presentations is limited and preference will be given to papers of the highest quality as judged by the Local Organising Committee.
While you will be asked to indicate your preferred presentation format, the program committee may request an alternative format be considered. The committee will allocate presentations to the program taking into account the preference of authors and the balance of the program.
Submitted presentations are for onsite presentation only - oral presentations and display posters will be in the Saturday and Sunday program. There are currently no virtual presentation opportunities.
We anticipate that authors will be the principal presenter for at most one featured presentation, but may be the principal presenter for more than one impact presentation and display poster.
A0 Size, Portrait: 841 mm wide x 1189 mm high
To ensure good legibility of the poster, we recommend portrait orientation and a maximum size of 80 cm in width and 115 cm in length.
Velcro will be provided to adhere your poster to the boards.
The Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts.
As there are limited places for oral presentations, some abstracts submitted for oral presentation may be offered posters. Authors in these cases will be advised and asked to confirm whether they wish to present a poster.
A confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your abstract submission will be automatically emailed to you once you have completed the online abstract submission. If you do not receive this confirmation email, please contact the Conference Secretariat.
NOTE: If you wish to edit your submitted abstract/s, please email the updated abstract to conference@aacb.asn.au.
Please note that all correspondence will be sent to the e-mail address from which the submitted abstract was received.
Successful abstracts will be provided to delegates on the Conference APP.
By submitting an abstract you are consenting to the publication of your abstract, if accepted, in the Conference App which is made available to all registered delegates.
