If you have employed custom stand builders for your booth, please ensure you pass this information onto them also. All custom builds will need to be approved by the AACB Event Manager and MCEC a minimum of 30 days before the conference date.

Exponet Exhibitor Services
The exhibition occupies Bays 21B& 22B, on the Ground floor of the Melbourne Convention Centre.
All exhibitor/contractor deliveries must be made to the Freight Forwarder no later than Friday September 11, for delivery to the Exhibition on Monday September 14.
NO DELIVERIES WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE MCEC LOADING DOCK FOR EXHIBITORS.
**The MCEC Delivery Label MUST BE USED on all goods delivered to the Freight Forwarder, for delivery to the venue**
Refer to above schedule. To ensure all exhibitors experience a speedy and trouble-free build of their exhibition, exhibitors and stand contractors must adhere to the access time provided. Access into the exhibition space prior to the scheduled time will not be permitted.
All exhibition booths must be completed and exhibitors moved in by 1600 on Monday 14 September 2026.
There is NO STORAGE available at the MCEC. If storage is required then this can be arranged through the Freight Forwarder, Expo Freight, on the contact details above. Or Exhibitors must remove boxes after bump in.
Safety vests and enclosed shoes MUST be worn at all times during the move-in and out schedule.
Move-out is from 1600 on Thursday 17 September 2026. All exhibitors are asked not to commence bump out until the completion of afternoon tea. The prior consent of the Event Manager is required for exhibitors to move out or breakdown prior to the scheduled time.
All boxes stored with the Freight Forwarder will be available for Bump out.
Please ensure the following items are packed in your on-site kit for the move-out. Courier collection is available from the loading dock for small items. For large items it is a requirement to use the Freight Forwarder 'Expo Freight' listed above :
Please be aware that after the event there is limited storage available and any additional materials to be collected MUST be moved to the loading dock and labelled properly for collection.
If you have organised a courier to collect goods, make sure that the consignment notice is completed and attached to secured packages.
Courier companies will not collect goods unless there is a completed and authorised consignment note. Consignment notes should include:-
Couriers can collect from the loading dock on Friday 18 September 7:00am until 4:30pm. Note: the loading dock on Friday closes at 4:30pm.
IMPORTANT: The MCEC and Event organisers accepts no responsibility for freight left without completed consignment notes or incorrectly completed consignment notes. All freight to be collected within 24 hours. The MCEC reserves the right to dispose of any freight remaining onsite after this time.

When attaching anything to walls, exhibitors are asked to only use blue tac, double sided tape, 3M tape.
NO pins, nails, staples, screws, bolts, Velcro, paint, or glue is to be used to fix materials to the walls. Damage to panels will be charged to exhibitors.
Furniture and audio-visual equipment can be ordered through Exponet Exhibition Services.
Exhibitors with custom stands must provide design specifications and stand plan to the Event Manager, Chontelle Grecian by no later than 10 August 2026 to ensure adequate time for venue approval. Refer to further custom stand specifications below.
Any exhibitor that would like a custom stand through Exponet needs to request this by email to esd@exponet.com.au by no later than July 13, 2026.
Unless otherwise stated, exhibitors are responsible for making their own arrangements for services required. It is the responsibility of all exhibitors to ensure their contractors or agents are familiar with the rules & regulations of the MCEC and have completed the venue induction.
FLOORING
The venue is not carpeted however ExpoNet will be providing charcoal carpet for the Exhibition area.
ELECTRICAL / LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS
If you are installing any form of equipment on your stand, please ensure you order adequate power. This will alleviate any power surges that may occur due to inadequate power supply.
The Industry Exhibition will be held in Bays 21B & 22B, on the Ground level at MCEC.
Anything over a 2.5mtr height requires approval from the AACB Events Manager. Permits may be required for structures over 3m, and for rigging etc and/or produce a risk assessment for the work undertaken onsite.
Floor load limits:
20 kPa or 2000kg per square metre; for all loads over this limit written approval must be requested.
Written approval from the venue is required to bring in any heavy and or vibrating equipment that might cause damage to the floor or any part of the Centre.
All electrical equipment entering the venue must comply with the local Standards. All electrical equipment used in the workplace, including equipment brought into the building by contractors or third parties must be tagged and tested.
The venue reserves the right to inspect and remove or replace any electrical equipment not complying with the Act. Power cords which are detachable, such as IEC leads, extension leads and power boards are separate items and need to be tested independently from the equipment they are supplied with.
All exhibitors MUST arrange testing and tagging of all electrical equipment prior to arrival at the exhibition.
It is the responsibility of each company to maintain insurance cover against injury to person or damage or loss of property in such amounts as the company shall deem appropriate. AACB, the Organisers, MCEC, or the Conference Secretariat will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury that may occur to the company’s representatives or property from any cause whatsoever prior, during and subsequent to the exhibition. It is recommended you purchase insurance to cover your property during the exhibition.
Public Liability Insurance
It is a requirement that each Exhibitor has Public Liability Insurance with a minimum AUD$10 million cover. Due to our insurance and venue booking requirements, we require a copy of your CERTIFICATE OF CURRENCY by 15 August 2026. Consequential Damage
The Committee will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising out of a breach of this exhibition contract.
All Organisers, contractors and exhibitors and their staff must wear safety vests and closed in shoes whilst on the loading dock, service road or in the exhibition during the construction, bump in and bump out of events. Vehicle drivers and offsiders or passengers utilising the dock areas, who intend to exit their vehicle are required to wear a safety vest or approved hi-visibility clothing for safety purposes.
There is no storage available at the venue. If using the Freight Forwarder then boxes/ pallets will be stored with them. If bringing items in by hand then boxes/ suitcases need to be removed at the conclusion of bump in.
