Code of Conduct

The AACB Virtual Conference is an event for registered attendees. Connection information to the platform should not be shared with non-registered people. When connecting to the platform, all attendees should use their own name, and not attempt to misrepresent themselves in any way. All attendees are expected to behave professionally and treat each other with respect for the duration of the meeting and in all activities related to it. Ideas and results must be respectfully discussed based solely on their scientific merits. Appropriate and respectful language should be used by all attendees in their interactions throughout the meeting, be it video, audio, text and chat form. 

Attendees who witness or are affected by possible violations of the Code of Conduct should contact AACB to initiate a complaint, attaching available evidence (e.g., screenshots) if available.

VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE POLICY

Attendees may not reproduce or record any written materials, any portion of the virtual conference or videos, provided by speaker(s) during the Event, and distribute them in any form.

Attendees may not create audio or video recordings of the Event presentation, in its entirety or any portion of the Event presentation, given by speaker(s) during the Event, and may not simultaneously broadcast or live-stream the Presentation Recordings, or post the Presentation Recordings on any website.

LIABILITY 

AACB are not liable for any damages resulting from the opinions and ideas communicated during the conference among participants, including but not limited to speakers and delegates.

AACB are not liable for any conference participant presentations, comments, or remarks that might reasonably offend anyone.

AACB cannot be held responsible in the event that the presenter encounters difficulties with regard to the broadcasting of his/her presentation on the platform for any reason (bad internet connection, defective audio materials, etc) - No compensation or reimbursement can be requested in this case.  Note: in the case of presentation difficulties AACB will do its best to pre-record the presentation after the meeting and include this in the on-demand recordings for delegates.
