AACB Annual Scientific Conference Travelling Scholarships

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

Up to 6 Travelling Scholarships (across three categories) will be available to AACB members to attend the AACB 59th Annual Scientific Conference in Perth, WA.

CATEGORIES:

  • Metropolitan Member Scholarships: for members who work in a major metropolitan area.
  • Regional Member Scholarships: for members who work in a regional area.
  • Early Career Scholarships: for members with less than 10 years experience at the close of applications.

The Scholarship will include a full registration to the Annual Scientific Meeting, four nights accommodation and a discounted return economy airfare from the major airport nearest the applicant's home town to Perth (accommodation and airfare will be booked by AACB). 

Note: 

  • local recipients receive full registration only.
  • In the case of successful overseas applicants, the airfare amount payable will be calculated based on an economy domestic fare between Perth and the most distant Australian capital city to Perth.

Eligibility:
The applicant must be a financial member of AACB for 18 months or more.

Favourable consideration will be given to members who submit an oral or poster abstract for the meeting (abstract submissions close 8 July 2022).

Successful applicants must provide a report to the Editor of the Clinical Biochemist Newsletter for inclusion in the next Issue post conference.
