This year’s theme, "Genetic Ecosystems," highlights the critical collaboration between academia, research institutions, healthcare providers, and technology firms to advance genomic medicine in modern healthcare systems. It reflects the interconnectedness of various disciplines working together to unravel the complexities of human genetics and implement ground-breaking innovations in clinical practice.
The Meeting promises an engaging and comprehensive exploration of the latest developments in human genetics and genomics. Topics will span a wide spectrum of issues, including equity in healthcare, ethical dilemmas, and the integration of genomics into everyday medical practice. Key scientific sessions will focus on areas such as genomic newborn screening for early detection of childhood conditions, cutting-edge genetic research on Indigenous populations and rare diseases, as well as the application of functional genomics platforms to better understand the clinical relevance of genetic variants.
We are thrilled to be hosting this meeting in Sydney, a city renowned for its iconic landmarks, stunning harbour views, and vibrant cultural scene. In addition to its world-class scientific offerings, Sydney will provide attendees with countless opportunities to explore its beautiful beaches, indulge in its diverse cuisine, and experience its thriving arts and entertainment scene.
