On behalf of the Local Organising Committee, we would like to thank you for attending the 44th Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA) Annual Scientific Meeting held in Adelaide SA (1-day hub) and Online.
Though we were sorry not to see you all in Adelaide, we were pleased to see over 80 SA delegates attend the 1-day hub day on Sunday 15th August. We're sure all Adelaide delegates enjoyed the opportunity to meet face-2-face!
We were also pleased to see over 500 delegates, exhibitors and speakers enjoy the three days virtually, providing outstanding scientific presentations, poster sessions, online networking opportunities, and a virtual Industry Exhibition.

AACG Trainee Awards
The judges decided to give 2 split first and second prizes this year.
Joint First Prize goes to: Shuxiang Goh and Alison MacLean, with Joint Second Place to: Lavvina Thiyagarajan and Alison MacLean (for a different presentation).
ASDG Karen Snow-Bailey Award for best oral presentation
Mr Paul Dunn for his presentation "Investigation of mitochondrial variants identifies a link between cerebral small vessel disease and Alzheimers disease."
