The 2023 RCPA AACB Chemical Pathology Course will be held at Rydges Latimer in Christchruch, New Zealand from the 13-17 February 2023.

We are excited to bring this back to a face-to-face meeting and looking forward to welcoming delegates to Christchurch, New Zealand.

The meeting will again run over five days, Monday to Friday, finishing with lunch on Friday.  A Welcome networking function will be held Monday evening and an optional dinner on Thursday night - a night to explore Christchurch city!

As well as a full week of program, we have included a half day on Wednesday, with some free time to explore more of Christchurch and surrounds. We also finish with lunch on the Friday, so you then can either head off home on Friday afternoon, or stay on and enjoy more of New Zealand!

For some pre or post meeting options, please view activities and places to visit here.

Note: The 2023 course will be an in-person meeting only (there will be no live streaming available); sessions will be recorded and made available online after the course. Delegates will have access to recordings post course, until 31 Dec 2023. A fee will apply for non-delegates to gain online access (this replaces the purchase of course notes, now providing you with access to online recordings as well as PDF course notes).

Numbers are limited and we recommend registering early.

The RCPA AACB Chemical Pathology Course is the region’s premier annual education meeting for:
  • Trainee chemical pathologists and scientists
  • Continuing education for chemical pathologists and scientists
  • Professional development for diagnostics support professionals

The program includes over 40 lectures covering syllabus topics complementary to topics of previous years, case study sessions and discussions, Exam preparation techniques, Method Moments, an interactive quiz each day, and opportunities to meet the AACB and RCPA examiners, and key local and Australian experts in clinical biochemistry.
