More than 360 delegates, exhibitors, and speakers gathered for three days of scientific presentations, featuring prominent sessions such as the David Curnow Plenary Lecture by Prof Graham Jones and the David Rothfield Memorial Oration by Prof Abdurrahman Coskun. We extend our gratitude to our sponsors and exhibitors, especially our Platinum Partner, DiaSorin, Barista Partner, Roche, and Industry Session Partners, Shimadzu and Beckman Coulter.
The event included 6 Keynote presentations, 24 Invited presentations, 17 submitted oral presentations, 96 posters, and an extensive Industry Exhibition with 41 booths from 32 organisations. Delegates also had ample opportunities to network over the three days.
We also held two satellite meetings which attracted over 160 delegates, and five sponsors to the CMS Satellite Meeting.

On behalf of the Australasian Association for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine, we invite you to the AACB 60th Annual Scientific Conference which will be held from the 17-19 October 2023 at the Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC), in Brisbane QLD.
The theme of the conference is 'Patient Centred Pathology', exploring how we can focus laboratory medicine’s essential role in healthcare to enhance and individualise our contribution to improved outcomes. Themes will include personalised laboratory medicine, pathology informatics and the patient controlled electronic health record, public awareness of pathology, reducing individual risk as well as updates in research, clinical and analytical biochemistry.
The conference will include invited international and local speakers, plenary sessions including the David Rothfield Memorial Oration and the David Curnow Plenary Lecture, concurrent symposia including industry and proffered papers, an extensive industry exhibition, submitted oral and poster presentations, and a number of networking opportunities over the three days.
