On behalf of AACB and the Scientific Program Committee, we would like to thank our keynote and invited speakers, delegates, sponsors and exhibitors for participating in and attending the 59th AACB Annual Scientific Conference held in Perth in October.
We were pleased to welcome back in-person, over 300 delegates, exhibitors and speakers to enjoy the three days of education and networking, outstanding scientific presentations, poster sessions, and the Industry Exhibition.
We are extremely grateful to all our speakers, sponsors and exhibitors without whom the conference would not be possible!
Thank you also to our hard working Scientific Program Committee for their commitment and time.
Registered attendees also have access to all recordings for on-demand viewing, until 30 June 2023. This includes access to posters and the virtual exhibition.
SAVE THE DATE for our 60th Annual Scientific Conference in Brisbane QLD, 17-19 October 2023!
Dear colleagues and friends,
It is my great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 59th AACB Annual Scientific Conference which will be held as a hybrid meeting, in Perth, Western Australia from the 18th to the 20th October 2022.
In a fast changing world with new and evolving challenges to the Scientific and Medical community, our profession has shown great resilience in responding to these headwinds with agility and innovations. The 59th AACB ASM in Perth will be a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues after a long hiatus as Australia reopens after two years of shutdowns and lockouts, to exchange ideas and update ourselves on the latest developments in clinical and laboratory science.
The conference venue is the state-of-the-art Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on the shores of the beautiful Swan River, adjacent to the new Elizabeth Quay entertainment and leisure precinct. Whilst the conference will have a hybrid format, we strongly encourage you to attend in person to obtain the maximum benefits of participating in the scientific conference; networking with colleagues, engaging in the face-to-face in interactive scientific sessions and lively social programs, as well as enjoying the vibrant city of Perth and the natural beauty of Western Australia.
We are putting together an exciting scientific and educational program, under the theme of "From Disruption to Innovation", covering the breadth and depth of Clinical Biochemistry, Laboratory Medicine and Clinical Medicine including updates on all aspects of COVID-19. There will be a broad spectrum of international, national and local experts and opinion leaders providing updates on the latest developments in health care and clinical science, as well as presentations on professional matters. Please plan to present your research and development work by submitting an abstract in order to participate in the poster and oral presentation sessions with prizes awaiting the best offerings. You can also look forward to a spectacular industry exhibition featuring the latest products and advances in diagnostic technologies presented by all the leading manufacturers, keen to display their wares to you.
A Satellite Meeting on "Patient-based real-time quality control" will be held on Monday 17 October.
The success of AACB ASC 2022 depends on your participation; we look forward to welcoming you to Perth in October 2022.
